medlight meets around when lighter was in the underground fighting scene, and meddly was part of a traveling troupe (which was a front for assassins) (cough see crimson troupe & phantom story arknights)… an undefeated champion and a precious angel… i hope they aren’t walking corpses longing for death!

both of them sort of stumble upon each other in their respective roles. lighter happens to watch a show from afar, and at the very least it’s holding together a small bit of his sanity. meddly catches wind of an arena and curiously hops over. it becomes routine and eventually familiar gazes grow into little interactions afterwards. they become friends yay!!! there’s a bit of banter but quiet intimacy takes root in their hearts. for once, the weight of pain, guilt, grief and regret is a little. Lighter. even if it is for a short while.

yup their little bubble from the harsh reality & lives they live pops eventually, and they part ways. ahem, meddly has to go elsewhere, lighter will eventually join the sons of calydon. fast forward a few years later, lighter walks into a flower shop and finds a familiar face again.

whaaaaat !!! it’s meddly !! hi !!! cue dramatic reunion

as it turns out, lighter runs w the sons of calydon now after having his debts paid off; meddly is still w their troupe, albeit… they’ve taken charge of it now and run it differently as bleeding leis— regardless, they’re in a better spot than back then. and they just work part time at dew gardening.

everyone gets their happy ending !!! (freeze frame jump in air high five credits roll)

meddly is jumping for joy everytime lighter drops by lumina square, whether or not they were dating. they get lonely easily with the exception of a one eyed cat, and an intelligent construct.

you know what time it is!! wingman time!! and it's just the most failure ever, but the effort is not for nothing because they get together!!! naturally on their own.

literally nothing changes aside from them kissing like what'd we do all that work for.
